    Notes
  • A comedy story called "Tall Dark Stranger" was told after "Swing Low Sweet Chariot"
  • This show could be Aug. 1964
  • The existing tape beginning with Garcia introducing Butch Waller & herb Pedersen of the rival bluegrass band The Pine Valley Boys. David Nelson was also a member of PVB at that time.
  • This trio existed for part of the summer, when Jody Stecher was visiting from New York. Sandy Rothman was still playing with Bill Monroe. Jody thinks that this show could have been at the Jabberwock in Berkeley.
  • Scott and Eric later used this band name for a few shows.
