Notes
  • The only surviving recordings of this band come from these three dates (July 16th, 17th and 18th), but it is unclear which songs came from which dates.
  • The instrumentation is derived from a band interview that was recorded.
  • The recordings were made by Stanford students and KZSU radio hosts Pete Wanger and Wayne Ott for their radio program. The original tapes were discarded, but the 10 produced hour-long shows were re-discovered in the 1990s and released commercially by Grateful Dead Records. All surviving recordings were included in the release.
  • The official release of this material contains a Garcia quip to the audience entitled "Boo Break" after "The Rub", and a band interview at the end.
