  • Philipe Sicard spent time in the Bay Area in late '72. He recalls a Jerry "gig at Keystone Berkeley, I don’t remember the date but it was about 7 or 8 days before the December 11 Dead show at Winterland with the same performers as on 11/8/72, plus a woman during the second set". Sarah Fulcher is confident that this was her. Placing the event in the timeframe of this two-night run seems pretty solid. Pinning that down also allows us to identify guest Doug Sahm the same night as Sarah, and a setlist detail, based on data and analysis pinned at JGMF, Garcia-Saunders with Guest Doug Sahm, ca. December 1972. NB that it seems Doug Sahm was in the house the same night as Sarah. We pin both of these events to the first night of the run (12/6/72), though it could have been 12/7.
