This venue was closed and demolished in 1983. Subsequently another venue with the same name was built in Chandler.
Stevie Nicks’ father, Jess Nicks, had a hand in the project and the facility was named for DJ and rock promoter Bill Compton.
Housed on the grounds of the Legend City amusement part.
