  • These were among the only JGB session contracts to be found in the archives of AFM Local no. 6. Arista paid these bills, starting five days after Jerry (and Bob, and the GD) finally signed with Clive. For that, see "Business: Legal: Arista Record Contract, 1976-1988," Grateful Dead Archive, Special Collections, UC Santa Cruz, MS.332.ser. 2, box 155, folder 11. There was a 2nd set of Arista-paid sessions three weeks later.
