Notes
  • Attendee Mr. Jones comment to JGMF "No Mahavishnu. Two opening acts, but I don't remember the names (I'd love to know). One was a solo acoustic singer-songwriter, the other a rock band. It was a long night - long waits between each act - and finally a relatively brief set by Garcia/Wales. Honestly, I was disappointed. I loved the album but thought the single set they played was lifeless. My only other memory was some guy periodically shouting out 'China Cat Sunflower'! Which, needless to say, never got played." Sege 1972 notes that "The two concerts grossed $32,000 out of a possible $34,000 at a $5.50 top".
