  • We used to list Ramble on Rose as the encore, as it is traditionally listed (Deadbase 50, deadlist.com), but on the Dave's Picks release it has this running order, and no mention of re-ordering it for that release was made.
  • Exante: "Sold Out," New Mexico Lobo, November 17, 1971, p. 1; . "Sold Out" item reads: If you want to see the Grateful Dead and the New Riders of the Purple Sage at the Civic Auditorium tonight, you better already have your ticket in band because it's sold out. The time has been moved up to 7 p.m. because the Dead and the Riders have this habit of playing for a long, long time."
  • Deadsources: "November 17, 1971: Albuquerque Civic Auditorium, NM" "Capacity crowd at the Civic Auditorium went wild" over the evening's country-rock. "The New Riders were great and well-received …" A few days later, same guy writes more, saying he didn't rave enough in the original review. He calls himself a "true believer". Andrews also says "Too bad; though, that the Nov. 17 concert couldn't have sold out sooner- the Dead had an open date the next day, and would've done another show if there had been the demand, Instead they took a trip to Taos."
