  • The event was a taping for a broadcast performance by the New Riders of the Purple Sage and Shanti. When the taping was finished some musicians meandered into Mickey's barn where he had a modest recording studio set up.

  • KQED-TV broadcast "A Day In The Country". A sub-one-minute video fragment has emerged, showing "Louisiana Lady", Freiberg chilling and listening, Croz coming out of the woods with a lissome ladyfriend.
