Notes
TJS: "After about an hour set break an announcement was made that Jerry had the flu and could not get his strength back. Subsequently, the second set was canceled." Not even close to sold out, one fan estimates 3,500 attending while capacity = 20k. Show originally scheduled for May 20th. On June 5th, it was announced that there would be no makeup shows, but refunds would be granted.
Recollex: Anonymous, writing the day after the show: "Jerry did not look good last night. After he first came out, he left the stage for several minutes before starting How Sweet It Is. Throughout the first set, he was staring fixedly at the stage about ten feet in front of the drums. The playing was lethargic and uninspired. The memory for lyrics was worse than usual. Deja vu for 1983-84 JGB shows was strong. I have no knowledge what was wrong with Jerry other than the speculation that I've read ... and the announcement that was made at the show last night."
