This is a deeply confusing and uncertain event. The Chronicle listings for this day show Jerry Garcia at the Warfield. The Sacramento Bee further lists this as a solo acoustic performance, so we can presume it would actually have been JGJK. Update: commenter 'darkstar' at JGMF says he saw JGJK at Warfield in 8/82. And yet, and yet. These would have been the first Bay Area JGJK shows, which we might imagine would have been kind of a big deal, but until listings came to our attention in 2019, there was no indication of such a show anywhere. Beyond The List, the dog doesn't bark in the Garcia Band business papers from this period. True, paperwork for many of the contemporary local gigs, including the Kabuki on 8/23, has not yet turned up. Kahn was booked into the Miyako Hotel 8/21-24, so that doesn't cut one way or the other for this show. It's all just very strange.
