Simon Friedman in Deadbase III (Scott et al. 1989, 343): "The 'Bird Song' in the first set is 18 minutes long and is a must for all Jerry freaks."

"The Wailers" were scheduled as openers at one point, and some tickets have them listed. Bob had been scheduled to play the Cole Field House on 9/25/80, but his last show was Pittsburgh on the 23rd, after which the remaining tour dates were cancelled. Not clear if this printing was an attempt at a makeup. Tickets for Bob Marley shows from the time all say "Bob Marley and the Wailers" so perhaps they we gonna make a go of it without Bob.
