  • Nicky introduces Tim Hensley (it's actually Henson) along with the rest of the band before "Edward". The band noodles on "Waltzing Matilda" in that same banter break. Garcia, Kahn, Nicky and Tutt each walked away from the gig with a C-note. Personnel note: this show has historically been listed as including a second guitarist [inaudible on tapes], "Mike Godman". We are sheepish that it took decades of head-scratching around who that might have been before Paul L. shows us that it almost certainly derives from Nicky saying "my God, man" in his band introductions. Heh heh.
