Rakow tells great stories about this gig. Garcia remembered lids of weed being thrown out into the crowd: "That blew our minds! The audience thought we were doing it, but it wasn't us — we couldn't afford it. That was truly a cosmic day — the look of the concert, the weather ..." (Brown 1991). Attaboy, Jer.

There is a bunch of material about this gig in the CU Archives. For example: Former student and then- CU employee M.B. Scott, 3/13/73: “As for someone ‘relieving himself’ in the [university] President’s box, I don’t think the President should take that so personally" (Joint Board System, Cultural Events Board, Series IV, Box 2 Fd. Cultural Events Board [UBSSCE] 1971-1994, University of Colorado Boulder Archives). It's not clear whether we are talking #1 or #2 here, but anyway, LOL.
