  • From Harry Angus, unknown speaker: "I remember Jerry and Buddy Cage on the stage sharing a smoke to watch the great Ralph Mooney play the pedal steel for Waylon Jennings."
  • Waylon was touring behind Lonesome, Onry & Mean, a great record. Back in the Bay Area in late '74, Waylon recalled this show: "How many of you were at Kezar Stadium? That changed a lot of things right there. Now we don't have to do nothing in Nashville" (Selvin 19741213).
