Notes
  • Between Lovelight and Cryptical, there are two tunes The Things I Used To Do and That's All Right for which Garcia is not present. These are both sung as a duet with Pigpen and Elvin Bishop, not clear what other GD members are on stage.
  • lostlivedead: Grateful Dead/Jerry Garcia Tour Itinerary June 1969 "Sunday afternoon, there had been a fairly substantial free rock show in Golden Gate Park, albeit not including the Grateful Dead. Probably as a result of that, a fair number of musicians seem to have been hanging out at the Fillmore West at the Dead show on that Sunday night. This Sunday night, however, was the time when Owsley [or, Goldfinger -- ed.] distributed some chemical concoction that was far too powerful for human consumption". The recollection is that this was the cause of Garcia sitting out for a portion of the second set.

  • lostlivedead: Fillmore West June 6 and 8, 1969-Guest Appearances (Yellow Shark comment) "The annotations to my list of Fillmore shows lists Wayne Ceballos sitting in the the 6th and Elvin Bishop, Billy Nix and others sitting in on the 8th. These annotations are by no means recent and may date back as far as tape covers in the late 1970s"
  • LIA: Billy Nicks was the drummer for Junior Walker & the All Stars, who were also playing at that show"
