  • "Artists' Rights Today Presents ... In Dance Concert at the Old Fillmore". The billing for Garcia is ambiguous. I think it's fair to say this was billed as JGJK (Jerry Garcia and John Kahn), but Sandy Rothman and David Nelson got invited along, and this becomes the public debut of the Jerry Garcia Acoustic Band (JGAB). Graham comes in and starts planning to take it to Broadway. And all that. Note all of the interesting co-billings, as well, especially Merle [sic], but also Gravenites, Cipollina, and others. These folks just didn't get together that much, and this must have been a special night.
