The expost account says this event upset the traquility of the suburban neighborhood, more than 10k fans in the sellout. Several hundred folks were milling around, ticketless. The borough passed an ordinance, which the school challenged in court. Senior Sue Manning recounted "It was disgusting and embarrassing. People were in the cemetery and other sacred places doing disgraceful things" (Kosenski 1984, 1). The Garcia concert was the most profitable, but it created the most problems. Good detail in Kosenski about that. Dean Nardone: "Garcia attracted a different lifestyle. Typical judgment of these people was that they were frightening looking." Dunkin Donuts employee Lynn Stinziano said the local burg just couldn't handle different kinds of people. "I argued with customers about people who were sleeping outside after the Garcia concert. They didn't bother anyone, but the customers wouldn't come near Dunkin Donuts for a month!" (Kosenski 1984, 4).
