  • review: [negative] Maney 1983; "a hopelessly, obscenely boring experience". After John Hammond finished up, Jerry's gear was onstage, so everyone thought it'd be quick. After 25 minutes of waiting, a guy came out and said Garcia had been "reminded that he had two shows to do", and would be out promptly. JGB did some good tunes, but, "then again, so do most bands that play at wedding receptions, but at those, you can at least eat cake. There was no escaping the tedium at the Forum last night".
