  • Nick: "At the start of the 2nd set, they announce Bobby Forte (not Fort) sitting in. Forte was a major blues/R&B sax player, based in San Francisco and probably kind of an elder statesman at this point -- he was BB King's sax player from the mid 60's through at least the mid 70's (he's on Live at the Regal, probably King's most famous album) and was also on some classic early 60's Bobby Bland recordings. He doesn't solo on every tune in the 2nd set, but he's probably playing the horn parts (can't really tell)".
