  • Gans uses the word "nodding" to describe the bass, drums and piano ... d'oh! But he sounds very positive. I infer he saw the 7/30 show, because he mentions Let Me Roll It and because he also saw Hunter this same weekend. So he saw JGB 7/30 and Hunter 7/29, I believe.
  • Sue: Wage, for both nights: $5,000 guarantee plus 60% total gross receipts exceeding $13,000. Handwritten note says "$6100 Rec'd." Employer to pay production costs. GP $16,500. Promoted by "Carlos & Star & Friends". Garcia and friends had 30 guest passes. There's some cryptic notation in the boxoffice report something-something-loaders and unloaders crew, with "crew" always in quotes. 12 more people, not sure what that's all about. Not a sellout.
