  • Circulating aud tape captures the last 45 minutes of what we list, from FOTD forward. The Norcal 76 official release lists the first three tunes, which we give here as starting this late show. The early show list seems complete, while this late show list was previously incomplete. We think the order we provide makes the most sense, but the setlist placement of these first three tunes is uncertain.
  • review: [mixed] Giampoli 1976: criticizes Garcia for not giving an interview and playing no encore. "After the late show, which was sold out, the crowd let loose with a volley of boos when after 10 minutes of steady applause the stage crew started breaking down the sound equipment."
  • Load-in at 1 (Dave McKelfrish - stage manager), show times at 8 and 11. Billboard does not mention the two shows, reports 2,717 attendance (not sellouts) for gross $12,740. $4 for students, $5.50 for the public. F.M. Productions (i.e., Graham) promoting. $4,000 guarantee for the band, plus $1,750 for sound and light, on gross potential of $13,500.
