    Notes
  • deadthinking: 1/19/73 Jerry wants cream and sugar
  • Marty David instead of John Kahn on bass. He was a Van Morrison guy, e.g., on Hard Nose The Highway, 1973. Jerry used other Van sidemen over the years - I think Daoud (David) Shaw and Ozzie Ahlers also fit that bill? David also has a credit for Warren Zevon, a band called Holy Moses, others, and performed live with Jesse Colin Young e.g., 12/15/73 Winterland. He also played tenor sax. Dancin' In The Moonlight is a trip!
  • listing: Hayward Daily Review, January 19, 1973, p. 23
  • expost: Todd Tolces, "Out to lunch," Berkeley Daily Gazette, January 26, 1973, p. 20: he names Sarah Fulcher, first and last! Maybe the only time we can recall that having happened in the Garciaverse. "Drummer Bill Vitt looked completely wasted from start to finish but was always reliable and steady."
