After dinner at the Chateau d'Hérouville, the English band Busbastis, led by Geoff Nicholson (ex lead guitar of East of Eden) does some studio work. Garcia plays a little Fender Special Studio. Chabiron has no love for the band, with the free sax guy trying and succeeding (hélas!) in out-louding Garcia, and Billy teaching the Busbastis drummer how to keep time. They kept at it for an hour before the Grateful Goddamned Dead start doing their thing.
