  • Show canceled after bomb threat. LIA: "The other acts on the bill performed as scheduled, but the Dead left. It's unclear why they left - per the promoter, the Dead split after a bomb threat with their $10,000 guarantee. According to a friend of the promoter, the Dead were too wasted to play and used the bomb threat as an excuse. Per McNally, the Dead had not been paid and the promoter used the bomb threat to end the show early (McNally 2002, 382)".
