  • This show is often listed as occurring on 8/30, but that was in fact the broadcast date. Wasserman says on 8/28/70 that it has already been taped. Jesse Jarnow speculates the 23rd is a likely date, but could have been slightly before or after.
  • Venue historically listed as KQED Studios but it was not taped there. Dennis Minnick who was a photographer and video assist for event says it was filmed at KPIX, but JGBP, in youtube comment thread, says claims it was recorded at "McCune Studios at the corner of 5th and Howard, SF." We now think it was more likely the former, and there is some photographic evidence showing KPIX cameras on the scene.
