JGMF commenter "runonguiness" points out that the GD Family Album (Brandelius 1989, p. 111) shows Jerry stamped through Customs in LA on 5/26/70, so he could not have been at the Matrix for this gig. There is also a flight itinerary in the Grateful Dead Archives showing him returning on Tuesday the 26th, on Pan-Am #121 from Paris-Orly to SFO.
