    Notes
  • Corry Arnold originally pinned a NRPS show at the Peninsula School in Menlo Park to 4/28/70, but it happened 5/19/70, per Stanford Daily: "Today from 3:30 to sundown the NEW RIDERS OF THE PURPLE SAGE (with Jerry Garcia of the Dead) will play at the Peninsula School, on Peninsula Way near Willow Road, Menlo Park. Tickets $1.50 at the gate, a benefit for the school's scholarship fund." NB Matrix tapes [redacted] list gives Jerry Garcia, Howard Wales and Friends, Sandy Bull on 5/19. Parrish's awesome eyewitness account gives the setlist information and lots of great color, e.g., that Dawson played a Guild acoustic. "Brown Eyed Handsome Man" opened the show, while the rest of the setlist should be considered unordered.
