recollection from Bearzchoice on dead.net entry for the show "Apparently the band was staying at the Ramada Inn at I-25 and Garden of the Gods Road.... until Pigpen lost his money in the cigarette machine and roughed it up a little (upside down is what I heard). The were asked to leave and apparently moved over to the Blue Fox Motel on North Nevada Avenue".

One eyewitness claims Cosmic Charlie ended the show (from DeadEssays blog).
