    Notes
  • According to the poster, there were two shows 8PM-10PM. After the concluding fragment of The Other One ends, Bobby says, "That’s all the time we have so we’re gonna knock off" and an MC says "The Grateful Dead, let’s hear it!" followed by applause. These make short sets (or shows) but at a student union in Salt Lake City they may have been under such a constraint.
  • Todd Wagner attended the show (not sure early or late), and says 300 people attended, including a dozen or so 4-5 year old girls, dressed all in white, who "wove their way through the crowd throwing flowers out of the baskets they carried".
  • JGMF: GD at University of Utah, April 12, 1969 "The Grateful Dead and Spirit of Creation, Lights by Five Fingers. Two shows, 8 and 10 p.m., $2 for students and $3 for non-students. … A little blurb "Grateful Dead at SDS Ball" says that the group had been scheduled to come earlier in the year but had to reschedule."
