  • JABase lists the venue as "Pinnacle Shrine Exhibition Hall", but this sounds to me like a corporate naming thing that might reflec an inaccurate projection back to 1968 from data gleaned much later. A note said that the Airplane played unannounced. One of these Shrine shows, probably Friday, is briefly reviewed in Johnson 1968. I presume he would have mentioned if he had seen the JA show up unannounced at the Saturday show.
